We recently got an umbrella for our outdoor table (yay for end of summer clearance lol) The light for our patio is very dim (in my opinion) and when you're sitting at the table it's very dark.  Especially if you're sitting in the chair that has it's back to the house.

This umbrella light gives off some nice soft lighting.  Keep in mind it's not that bright, I wouldn't recommend doing surgery with it.  It gives off enough light to see your food if you're eating, or playing cards or whatever.  It clips on tight and stays in place.  Very easy to use and "install".    My favorite part about this light is that it's rechargeable.  No batteries required.
