Ok the nail polish...while kind of pretty, is just not my thing. I polish my nails like 3 times a year. The hair tie I won't be using either because I need those thick rubber bands to hold my super thick hair. Otherwise my hair just falls. The face wash....is just stupid in my opinion. It's a powder that you add water to..... mmm ok..... The eyecream...oh the eyecream. The tube has about enough product in it for one application. I had to squeeze the tube flat before saw any product. How am I supposed to know if I like an eyecream after one application?? AND FINALLY the packets. I hate sample packets. I don't know why, but I do, especially when I'm paying for them. There's even a section on the questionnaire (you fill this out so they can send you items according to your preferences) where is asks if you want sample packets. I said no but somehow every month I get at least 2-3. *SIGH*
I just am not into facial products or hair products. So the fact that these boxes are 80% those items is just not exciting to me. I'm really only interested in the makeup. Since I started subscribing to BB I've only gotten 1 item I would ever consider buying so sadly this is the last month for me.
Last month (I didn't post this because I had no internet because of the move) I got:
I'm really not a fan of eyebrow pencils. I use them ONLY when I'm in a hurry and even then....I hate them. I already have like 15 so I guess this will sit in that pile. The Redken spray I DO like. It smells good but I would never buy it. I can get the same type of spray at the drugstore and it would do the exact same thing. The perfume is not a scent I would wear, the oil is...I don't even know because I'm not sure what to do with it. I would not put oil on my skin :P. The Kind bar I gave away because I don't eat nuts lol.
So basically I just wasted $20 the past 2 months on things that will probably just sit around collecting dust :(. Sorry Birchbox, I'm not impressed enough to stay subscribed.
